The national study on knowledge, attitudes and practices on cervical cancer prevention in the Republic of Moldova was carried out during the autumn of 2018 using a sample of 1226 women, including a qualitative component of focus groups and in-depth interviews with 51 women (25-61 years), 40 doctors and 15 public health experts. The study has a margin error of +/- 2.8% and was carried out by Magenta Consulting company, under the leadership of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, with the support of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) as part of the project "Prevention of cervical cancer in the Republic of Moldova".
