Second meeting of the International Advisory Panel on Population and Development - Moldova

UNFPA Regional Office established the International Advisory Panel on Population and Development for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (IAPPD-EECA). The purpose of the panel is to further support countries and to foster continued cooperation between institutions in the region. Given its strong interest and practice in population and development (including the existence of the National Commission on Population and Development), and the important national processes that will take place during 2016, Republic of Moldova is considered as the first country to benefit from this expertise.

Launch of the Integral Territorial Demographic Security Index

Demographic Research Centre, in partnership with UNFPA, United Nations Population Fund, launches Policy Paper "Integral Territorial Demographic Security Index".

Integral Demographic Territorial Security Index (ITDSI) is a tool that shows the level of socioeconomic and demographic development for each administrative-territorial unit of the country. The index is calculated based on four composite indicators: demography, health, social sector and employment.

Youth Festival 2016

National Youth Council of Moldova, in partnership with UNFPA and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Moldova, AIESEC and Rotaract Club organizes the most awaited event of the summer for young people – the Youth Fest 2016. 
 
This year event is focused on the young people’s role in achieving the Agenda 2030.
 
On the occasion of the International Youth Day, young people will have the opportunity to discuss with the decision makers, to find more about the employment, internship opportunities and programs for youth.
