Globally, 85% of women have experienced or witnessed digital violence against other women, and 95% of deep fake videos on the internet are pornographic in nature, all of which are about women.

In Moldova, the phenomenon of technology-facilitated gender-based violence is growing and affecting more and more people. This form of abuse combines traditional bullying with digital tools, amplifying the impact and difficulty of combating it.

In an interview for AGORA, Alexandra Robinson, UNFPA global advisor, spoke about Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence, how it can be prevented and what are the solutions to combat the phenomenon.
