Only together we will be able to protect and save girls and women from the phenomenon of sexual violence. This is the only way will we be able to contribute to them having a free life, which they can live in dignity.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Republic of Moldova, as a partner in the implementation of policies and programs aimed at preventing and combating gender-based violence, including sexual violence, in partnership with the Government and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the International Center "La Strada Moldova ” and Women's Law Center, launched the awareness and social mobilization campaign against sexual violence "Prinde aripi.Set Free".

The launch took place at a media event where more than 100 participants, including doctors, psychologists, social workers, police officers, volunteers and representatives of the diplomatic corps, gathered to convey the call to report violence and to request the necessary support.

Within the campaign, we aim to inform the general public about the issue of sexual violence and promote the available services, as well as mobilize the people involved in preventing and combating this phenomenon.
